‘Fireworks’ is the latest track from a pair of impressive British newcomers, Meadow Meadow. The track is an explosion of psychedelic colour, coupling jangly guitars with distant drums and warm vocals. It’s an imaginative exploration of texture, drawing on experimentation and natural sound. They explain that this track was “the first time that we both sang the lead vocal, which has since become an important element for us. It can be nice to write a set of lyrics and hear the other person singing them. It can offer insight and add a new dynamic to the intended message”. Meadow Meadow have spent lockdown collaborating remotely between Manchester and London in order to created their debut self-titled EP, due for release on August 19^th. - Dan Peeke
